About Us

Ken Rabeneck, owner/ president/ editor/ producer/ chief videographer of Frog Creek Video, began videotaping dog obedience trials in 1980. Soon after, he began doing wedding videos and producing "Year-end Highlight" videos for the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club.

In 1986, by popular request, Ken expanded his video activities beyond dog videos and wedding videos to Micro-Midget and go-kart racing. He has videotaped racing at Sweet Springs, Liberty, Richmond and Carrolton, Missouri as well as Lawrence, Kansas. Ken was the official videographer at the Thunder Lake Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas at its opening in 2001 until the track closed in 2012. His "Thunder Lake Highlights" music videos were always very popular at the year-end awards banquets.

Over the years, Frog Creek Video has produced several different racing wrecks music videos, "Go-Karts: Flippin' Out" volumes 1 through 5. These are 30-minute music videos of the worst go-kart crashes and wrecks that were taped over the years.

Ken now concentrates on the local dog agility circuit, traveling among several midwest cities such as Kansas City - Blue Springs - St. Louis - Columbia - Carthage - Springfield, Missouri as well as Lawrence - Wichita, Kansas, Lincoln - Omaha, Nebraska and Tulsa, OK.

Other past video assignments include local antique car tours, antique airplane fly-ins, dog conformation National Specialty events and the Micro Midget Nationals and K.A.R.T. Nationals. Some of the antique car events included a 10-day national Model T tour through the Rocky Mountains and the Model T Speedster Bi-Annual Reunion in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Ken's dog agility and kart racing videos include background music, slow-motion action on the opening titles and a photo label of the individual's dog or racing kart. These are fun videos that friends and family, not involved in the sport, can watch without being bored. He frequently gets fan mail and letters of thanks from his clients. One agility competitor wrote, "I used the MACH DVD this morning at my business club as I was giving the program. Everyone really enjoyed it...."

From one of his kart video clients, "We had videos done from Frog Creek Video in 2007 when Jeremy raced Junior Amateur at Thunder Lake, and they were absolutely amazing!!! Kinda felt like we had a superstar living in our house when we received the DVD and watched it!! LOL . . It is definitely worth the money for the videos.."
